In Mumbai Region, all KVs are imparting skill education to their own students, and seven KVs conducted skill courses after school hours for drop out unemployed youth.
To ensure implementation of Vocational Education and to develop skills during school education, Artificial Intelligence is introduced as a vocational subject in all KVs from Class VIII. Skill Hubs were initiated for out of school/out of education youth skilling after school hours as part of pilot project under Ministry of Education and Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship under PMKVY 3.0
The following training given to students under Skill Education
- Installation of CCTV Camera
- Introduction of HD camera, types of camera like dome and bullet, cable, connectors, how to connect the wire with connectors and camera, SMPS, HARDDISK setup and installation in dvr, tools required for setup like screw driver, stripper cutter.
- Intro of IP camera, intro of NVR, crimping of cable, POE Switches, ip camera adding on nvr.
