Objective : Career guidance for career choices for Students to help them acquire the knowledge, information, skills, and experience necessary to identify career options, and narrow them down to make one career decision.
Period: Month of June-August 2024.
The Career Guidance Program for the students : Grade 9, 10, 11 & 12 (Science & Commerce) conducted by Mr. Pandharinath S. Rajeshirke. Professional as a Rehabilitation Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Hypnotherapist, Handwriting improvisator & Career counsellor with 10 years Oofexperience of working with Esteemed Educational Institutes, Corporates & Healthcare Organizations.
Credentials include: P.G. Applied Psychology (Clinical), P.G. Dip. Rehabilitation Psychology, Bachelor of Arts (Psychology).
Introduction:
Career guidance for career choices for School Students has to be consider on an individual’s factors such as interests and strengths for different subjects. Choosing a stream that aligns with passions and abilities if pupil enjoy a particular subject and perform well in it, it may indicate a suitable stream for his/her. While choosing the right stream, pupil should try to understand their ability and capability of dominating the subjects, being passionate about choices and not to get pressurized by society and its surroundings.
Mode: Section A and B in classroom setup with the help of PPT and activities. Section A consist of Soft skill communication and Mindset (Fixed & Growth Mindset) and Section B consist of understanding the need of Guidance in Career counselling.
Outcome: The students were motivated and guided to achieve higher milestones in lives. Interaction with parents and career guidance manuals were given for future reference.
