Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP)

KV ONGC PANVEL is committed to staying connected with all its students. As part of this effort, a Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP) is implemented across all KVs, providing extra classes for students who miss regular classes due to various reasons.

Each year, a special timetable is created for students involved in sports, cultural activities, science exhibitions, and other events, allowing them to make up for any academic losses.

At Kendriya Vidyalaya, ONGC  Panvel, the Academic Loss Programme adheres to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) guidelines. This initiative is designed to address the academic gaps experienced by students participating in KVS co-curricular activities such as sports, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB), National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC), and Kala Utsav.

To support these students, additional classes are held after school hours, and a dedicated timetable is set to help them catch up on their studies.
